'Accommodation'

The accommodation is in part of our cortijo in the mountains to the back of estacion de Cartama. The road to the cortijo is a steady twisting ride with nice hair pins.

The accommodation is in the old part of the cortijo, (over 100 years old) with its thick stone walls, and timber roofs, it has been reformed, and maintains its original features, It comprises two bedrooms, a double, and twin bed, a large shower room, and a lounge complete with sat TV. music, etc. and the sofa bed is a comfortable double bed, so we can sleep 6 with no trouble. The very large kitchen, and the dining room are in the new part. Outside has various terraces and patios, and a natural shaded area under the 85 year old eucalyptus trees.

The views from the cortijo are without doubt the best in this area and need to be seen, There is an 80 year old slate area( the era ),and here is a plunge pool to cool off in and revitalize your selves after a good ride , or you can sun bathe.
We feel the cortijo is the ideal place to set off from and return to each night, It adds to the (not tied to a strict routine) feeling we are trying to promote.
The accommodation has all the mod cons you would expect, if you want a quiet laid back bike tour with the best biking roads in the area, or perhaps a bit of night life we have it all in reach, the local town has some excellent, bars, cafe, and restaurants, a couple owned by Spanish biker friends where there is always a warm welcome.

Cartama, and estacion de Cartama, are typical Spanish white village/towns 40 mins from airport, 40 mins to beaches. The biking roads start at my front gates there are various, places of interest, churches, castles, Roman bridges etc. that are not far away, it is a motorcycle orientated area and has a local Spanish bikers club, and the Anden bar has become the local bikers bar.
